The Outstanding Leaders Partnership (OLP) supported by Best Practice Network, is pleased to share our upcoming event and welcome partners of OLP to the forum, as well as encouraging current candidates and alumni on our leadership programmes to attend.

During this FREE event we will discuss:

  • Future proofing the work of school CPD partnerships
  • Developing a shared early career framework offer of curriculum materials, training programmes and mentoring
  • Preparing specialist NPQs in partnership, beginning with the Teacher Developer NPQ
  • Responding to the teaching centre agenda together

Sally Bishop is Director of the West Hertfordshire Teaching Schools Partnership, part of the Aspire Academies Trust. She has previously been headteacher of two diverse primary schools in Hertfordshire in a career spanning over 25 years.

Sally is a passionate advocate of teacher and leader development, supporting and delivering high quality leadership training, particularly NPQH across the East of England on behalf of the Outstanding Leaders Partnership.

Sally is also an experienced performance coach working mainly with headteachers and school leadership teams.

Yvonne is a leadership coach, National College associate, lead facilitator, assessor and mentor who is involved in strategic work with schools, local authorities and national agencies to support improvement in the quality of the education workforce.

She leads a number of national programmes that impact upon the quality of leadership, learning and teaching and contribute to school improvement and adult learning.

Dean has worked across early years, primary, secondary and HEI sectors gaining a wealth of experience and understanding of high quality CPD for all members of the school and academy community. Dean is Lead Moderator on our National Professional Qualifications for School Leaders programmes. Having initially trained as a PE teacher, Dean has a keen interest in all sports, particularly triathlon events and enjoys walking holidays with family.

Director of Teaching, Learning & Leadership, The Dean Trust at Ashton on Mersey School

Nick has taught for 25 years and over the last 10 years he has predominantly focused on staff training and supporting school leaders across the country to develop their teachers and support staff.

As director of Ashton on Mersey Teaching School he was commissioned by the NCTL to produce the Specialist Leaders of Education (SLE) Core Training, which has become a pivotal part of the SLE accreditation process.

Nick is responsible for the training and ‘quality improvement’ of face-to-face facilitators who deliver NPQML and NPQSL and for the quality assurance of schools that are licensed to deliver these programmes.
