Director of L.E.A.D. Equate TSA and OLP Board Member

Amanda Griffiths is the Director of L.E.A.D. Equate Teaching School Alliance. The Alliance includes 25 Primary and Secondary Academies within L.E.A.D. Academy Trust, situated across a number of regions including Leicester, Sheffield, Nottingham, Derby and Lincoln.

Beyond the Trust, the alliance includes 40 partner schools within Lincolnshire and beyond.

The Teaching School Alliance has a team of 10 employees and a significant number of School Improvement partners who strive to work collaboratively with strategic partners in each region. Collectively L.E.A.D. Equate aims to ensure that our CPD is of the highest quality, research-driven and demonstrates a positive impact.

Amanda has previously led Equate Teaching School for  6 years, whilst being an Executive Headteacher of two Academies in Lincolnshire. Additionally, Amanda has supported leaders in other schools and academies across Lincolnshire and beyond, to drive school improvement.

As an appropriate body, Amanda has responsibility for 61 NQT’s and 18 ITT Trainees across the alliance and the Teaching School works tirelessly to ensure that CPD is of the highest quality for those entering the profession.

As an accredited Delivery partner with the Outstanding Leaders Partnership and Best Practice Network, L.E.A.D. Equate has successfully delivered NPQH, NPQSL and NPQML programmes located in Nottingham.
